Education

Education should not be considered an expense by our Common Wealth government, but rather, an investment in the future of our families, our communities and our nation. The RepresentUs - Australia - Movement is committed to Australia becoming the clever country again, because we know that this is the only way to guarantee our future for our nation and our kids. We also recognise that making sure that our academy has sufficient funding from our Common Wealth government is absolutely essential for them to remain best practice research, teaching and learning centres of excellence. For all these reasons the RepresentUs - Australian movement is committed to:

• Providing high quality public education, (early childhood, primary, secondary, vocational, tertiary and post-graduate), which will be free to all Australian citizens
• Existing student loans will be forgiven
• The choice of courses to be offered in universities will be at the discretion of the respective academic board and an evidence based clear public benefit
• Public funding of private primary and secondary education institutions will be reviewed to clearly determine their public benefit
• All reasonable costs paid by parents, which are associated with best practice early childhood education and care will be paid for by the government
